Two men have been jailed for life for the shooting of a man found dead in a car in Rugby.
23-year-old Jordan Banton's body was found in a car off Newton Road in July.
Paul Michael Evan Dolan Clarke aged 35, of Bluebell Close, Rugby and Darell Akins aged 28 of Follager Road, Rugby were charged with Jordon’s murder days after the shooting.
Jordan had been waiting to meet the pair to try to solve a dispute between them. Witnesses say one of them got out of the car fired two shots and Jordan's car was seen swerving off the road and crashing into a hedge. Another shot was fired at close range and the 23-year-old died at the scene.
The car used by the gunmen was found by officers a couple of days later.
Both pleaded not guilty but the jury found them guilty of murder.
Clarke was sentenced to life and will serve a minimum term of 25 years.
Akins was sentenced to life and will serve a minimum term of 30 years.
